Abstract
This study reports on a reconnaissance cultural resources survey of an approximately 4,000 acre tract located in southern Claredon County, South Carolina, near the town of St. Paul. The work was conducted to assist Mr. Kevin O’Neil and Beach Lake Properties, LLC in determining the probably cultural resource implications of development. This study, conducted at a reconnaissance level, is not intended to satisfy Section 106 requirements and additional investigations will be required to comply with Section 106 of the National Historical Preservation Act and the regulations codified in 38CFR800.
