Clinic services provider manual

South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services
Abstract
Clinic services are described as preventive, rehabilitative, or palliative services that are furnished by a facility that is not part of a hospital, but is organized and operated to provide medical care to outpatients. The South Carolina Medicaid Program will reimburse for services that are medically necessary and provided in a clinic that is certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and licensed by the state licensing authority. This manual lists requirements that must be met in order to qualify for payment.
