Abstract
The mission of the South Carolina Commission for the Blind (SCCB) is to provide quality individualized vocational rehabilitation services, independent living services and prevention of blindness services to blind and visually impaired consumers, leading to competitive employment and social and economic independence. All decisions affecting eligibility for, the nature, scope, and provision of vocational rehabilitation and supported employment services are made by the SCCB and are not delegated to any other agency or person. To receive SCCB services, an individual must first be determined eligible.
