Bobwhite Quail Whistling Cock Censuses

Permanent URI for this collection

Every year, SCDNR staff and numerous volunteers take to the field to conduct four distinct types of quail surveys at different times of the year that are designed to gauge the health of the bobwhite quail populations, which, unfortunately, have been in decline for decades, both here in South Carolina and across the rest of the Southeast. These reports share the data collected from these surveys.
