The Antler Records Program of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources annually publishes the Deer Antler Records to share information about deer hunting and the deer population. Antlers from deer that are taken in the fall are typically measured the following spring.

However, SCDNR staff measured antlers on a one-on-one basis by appointment in agency offices in 2021. These efforts revealed 222 new records including 211 typical and 11 non-typical racks.
