    This report provides a short background of the state excise tax on gasoline and diesel fuel in the state of South Carolina. It provides a concise review of the motor fuel model and the Infrastructure Maintenance Trust Fund by comparing the actual results from the previous fiscal year with the forecast values. It also discusses the research findings of the motor fuel demand results and examines the sensitivity of the gasoline model results with changes in the price of a gallon of gasoline during the forecast period.
