Carolina CoCoRaHS Newsletters

The South Carolina Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network regularly publishes a newsletter from the South Carolina State Climatology Office that covers drought, hurricanes, and rainfall. CoCoRaHS is a grassroots volunteer network of backyard weather observers of all ages and backgrounds working together to measure and map precipitation in their local communities. The purpose of this publication is to keep South Carolina residents informed about the latest seasonal weather events and how observers help fill in a piece of the weather puzzle that affects all South Carolinians. This publication later became the CoCoRaHS Rain Gauge Gazette in 2018.
