South Carolina Social Studies Academic Standards Correlations

Abstract
The academic standards correlations that are referenced in this document provide a crosswalk, a connection between South Carolina’s 2005 social studies academic standards and the state’s 2000 social studies curriculum standards. In addition, these correlations align the 2005 South Carolina standards with standards for social studies and its subdisciplines that have been promulgated by eleven exemplary states across the nation and by federal agencies and national organizations.
