Board of Nursing

 

The Board of Nursing at the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation issues licenses to qualified practitioners and serve as a direct link between members of the nursing profession and consumers. Board of Nursing evaluates the qualifications of license applicants, grants licenses to those that qualify, and establishes regulations that set ethical and technical competence standards for the nursing profession. The board also takes disciplinary action against licensees whose conduct fails to meet the accepted standards of the profession.
