Trinkley, Michael
Chicora Foundation
Abstract
The study included an intensive archaeological survey of the 30 acre tract, as well as background research which included very brief historical examination of resources at the Charleston Register of Mesne Conveyances and the South Carolina Historical Society, examination of the site files at the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, and a request for information from the South Carolina Department of Archives and History. As a result of these investigations four previously recorded sites, 38CH1458, 38CHl459, 38CH1460, and 38CH1461, were identified on the study tract.
