Abstract
The purpose of this report is to provide a timely update to the latest data on substance disorder
indicators for county planners. The present report is an effort to meet the recent request of counties for
data assistance in the development of their 2022-2023 county treatment plans. The report
includes charts and tables for over 18 indicators of county risk factors associated with the
development of substance use disorders. The framework for reporting these indicators is intended to provide a
simple tool for planners to utilize to help make data-driven decisions in support of prevention
and treatment planning activities. We recommend that the report be used in conjunction with
other local knowledge resources to provide the best results.
