Abstract
The South Carolina Reporting & Identification Tracking System collects information on controlled substances and is intended to improve the state's ability to identify and stop diversion of prescription drugs in an efficient and cost-effective manner. All dispensers in South Carolina, including mail order pharmacies who ship into South Carolina, are required to report their dispensations to the data repository daily. SCRIPTS' database includes all CII-IV dispensations that were dispensed in South Carolina.
