Board of Economic Advisors

The Board of Economic Advisors was established in 1973 to prepare and review economic forecasts and general fund revenue projections. Membership includes the representatives of the financial committees of the General Assembly, a representative of the Department of Revenue a member appointed by the Governor. The Board is responsible for providing revenue impacts to the General Assembly for proposed legislation and functions under the Office of Research and Statistics.

Effective July 1, 2014, the Board of Economic Advisors became part of an independent agency operating as the Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office.
