Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations

The South Carolina Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations was created by executive order in 1970, established as a state agency in 1984, was incorporated into the Budget and Control Board in 1995. Its mission is to provide a continuing planning program that studies intergovernmental issues among federal, state and local levels; facilitates regional infrastructure priority setting on a statewide basis and coordinates capital improvements programming for the statewide development and maintenance of water, sewer and public communications infrastructure.
