Kid's Law

Kid’s Law provides individuals with an overview of several areas of the law affecting young people in South Carolina. Its purpose is to educate about issues that young people are likely to encounter. A question/answer format has been used to directly address questions that are frequently asked by young people. This booklet is not meant to be a legal guide or sole source of legal information. It is meant to provide a starting point of reference for questions people may have about the law, rights, or responsibilities as a citizen of this state.
