Abstract

This report explores a unique approach to quantify the value of the forest export cluster, including the manufacturing facilities that export, wholesalers/brokers, transporters, and port service providers. In this executive summary, we’ll describe South Carolina’s forest resource, our forest products manufacturing capacity, the economic contribution of South Carolina’s forestry exports, and opportunities for export growth.
