Abstract
The South Carolina State Technology Plan 2003–08 begins with an explanation of the planning processes used and the key stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities in devising their subsection of the overall strategic plan. The plan presents five core technology dimensions that must be addressed in order for us to begin improving student achievement through the use of technology as an integrated tool. Each of these goals is followed by recommended implementation strategies and considerations that reflect aspects of the particular core dimension.
