Tree Planting Guidelines for Reforestation Cost Share Programs in South Carolina

South Carolina State Commission of Forestry
Abstract
Planting seedlings on private lands under a cost share program must meet predetermined specifications to qualify for payment. These specifications are designed to protect both the program administrator and landowner in getting a properly planted stand of trees. The final planting compliance inspection has been designated to be the responsibility of the South Carolina Forestry Commission's Project Forester assigned to the county where the work is done.
