Disability and Health in South Carolina : Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Reports

The BRFSS (Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System) is a state-based cross-sectional telephone survey conducted to assess health behaviors and risk factor prevalence within the United States, its states, and its territories. People with disabilities are identified as a possible health disparity group. To reduce these disparities, it is important to understand the health status of those with and without disabilities.
