Across three counties in South Carolina were conducted visual encounter surveys of rock outcrops. Green Salamanders were detected at 30 of the 61 sites surveyed. Knowledge of factors that influence population abundance and survey success will help guide future efforts to protect the species in the southern portion of its range.application/pdfDocumentCopyright status undetermined.
