The entire tract was shovel tested at 100 foot intervals, with none of the 54 shovel tests yielding subsurface remains. However, one prehistoric sherd was found on the ground surface, adjacent to a slough. Despite the excavation of five shovel tests in its vicinity, no additional remains were recovered.application/pdfDocumentCopyright 2001 by Chicora Foundation, Inc.Archaeological surveying--South Carolina--Dorchester CountyDorchester County (S.C.)--AntiquitiesArchaeological survey of 14 acres at Sland's Bridge, Dorchester County, South CarolinaChicora research contribution 172Text
