Abstract
State Funded Community Supports (SFCS) is an array of services offered by OIDD to those who are eligible for OIDD services but are not eligible for an OIDD-operated Home and Community Based Waiver. To be eligible for an OIDD-operated Home and Community Based Waiver, one must qualify for Medicaid and meet the Level of Care specific to that waiver. When someone who is eligible for OIDD services has been offered the opportunity to enroll in an OIDD-operated Home and Community Based Waiver but was unable to do so because they do not qualify for Medicaid or do not meet Level of Care for the specified waiver, State Funded Community Supports may be offered.
