2015 legislative report for the Transportation Alternatives Program

South Carolina Department of Transportation
Abstract
The Transportation Alternatives Program provides an opportunity for local governments to pursue non-traditional transportation related activities such as pedestrian facilities, bicycle facilities and pedestrian streetscaping projects. Furthermore, the program improves the quality of life in communities across the state by allowing citizens the means to take on projects that might not otherwise be possible.
