Enhancing Online Customer Experience Through Data

Abstract
The Department of Revenue provides online self-service options for customers—primarily through our website and taxpayer portal. The public website, dor.sc.gov, is an informational resource to help our customers understand their compliance requirements. The taxpayer portal, MyDORWAY, is where taxpayers complete tasks to meet those requirements, including submitting applications, returns, and payments. Creating a Customer Experience Team for the SCDOR would create a streamlined, efficient way for the agency to evaluate the success of its online services.
