Abstract
This Appendix has been created as a scheduling model for the long-term management of the Sand Hills State Forest. It covers the forests' land management, environmental factors, educational programs, recreational activities, monitoring, and other vital records. The objective of this long-range plan is to conserve the red-cockaded woodpecker (RCW, Picoides borealis) in Sand Hills State Forest (SHSF) as required by the Endangered Species Act of 1973 as amended (ESA).
