One-Time Early Refill of Schedule III-V Prescriptions
Abstract
Pursuant to S.C. Code Section 25-1-440 and Executive Order No. 2026-02, issued January 21, 2026, Governor McMaster has declared a state of emergency in anticipation of the expected impact of the impending winter storm (“Winter Storm”) on the State of South Carolina. In accordance with Section 25-1-440(a)(3), Governor McMaster has further ordered that any agency within the Governor’s cabinet waive or suspend provisions of existing regulations prescribing procedures for conduct of state business if strict compliance with the provisions thereof would in any way prevent, hinder, or delay necessary action in coping with the emergency. Executive Order No. 2026-02 took immediate effect on January 21, 2026, and is in effect for fifteen (15) days unless further ordered.
