Abstract
The purpose of the peer review was to identify whether LAC's system of quality control was suitably designed and followed during the review period to provide LAC with reasonable assurance that its performance audit engagements conform with Government Auditing Standards in all material respects. The South Carolina Legislative Audit Council contracted with the National Conference of State Legislatures to perform its 2019 peer review.
