Abstract
This data brief reviews the characteristics of the Dental Hygienist workforce in South Carolina in 2015. It includes demographics, professional settings, work hours, and distribution across the state. Proportionately, Dental Hygienists are more likely to practice in rural counties (20%) than Dentists (12%).
