Abstract
This study presents the results of an examination of the nineteenth century Rose Hill plantation main house, slave row, and graveyard. Our goal for the work at the slave settlement was simply to find it. While a 1797 plat indicted a settlement north of the oak allee, the site had never actually been located in the ground.
