Brain Health Activities for South Carolina Senior Centers

South Carolina Department of Public Health
Abstract
In 2024, the South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) had a conversation with Senior Resources and the SC Santee-Lynches Area Agencies on Aging to determine if there was an opportunity to link senior center activities to brain health. DPH analyzed over 800 senior center activities and aligned them to brain health. This supported the development of the brain health toolkit for senior centers.
