Abstract
In November 1989, the Human Services Coordinating Council requested staff to conduct a survey to assess the impact from Hurricane Hugo on state human services agency operations, staff resources and costs involved in the relief effort, barriers encountered in the restoration of services to clients, and recommendations for improving response effectiveness in future disasters. The findings of the survey are detailed in this report,
