Abstract
This book examines the organization, movements, and leadership of the American and British forces leading up to and during the Battle of Camden on August 16, 1780, with particular attention to strategic decisions and battlefield conduct. It also analyzes the strength and losses of both armies and assesses the battleā€™s consequences for the Southern campaign of the American Revolutionary War.
