Abstract
This project has looked into the challenges of traditional ways of analyzing data for the highway system performance monitoring and evaluation and proposed an alternate efficient cloud-based framework. While the traditional approach is increasingly becoming inflexible with growing velocity and veracity of the data coming into the transportation industry, the research shows that there is a better way to cope with it and build a sustainable framework that will be elastic enough to suffice the future needs.
