Abstract
This Aquatic Plant Management Plan was released by the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services in conjunction with the Aquatic Plant Management Council. Each year, an Aquatic Plant Management Plan is developed, which identifies aquatic weed problem areas, describes management objectives, prescribes management strategies, and determines funding needs and sources. The overall purpose of the Plan is to establish the basis for a management program which will minimize adverse impacts of aquatic plant populations on the use of SC’s public waters.
