Abstract
An Information Letter is a written statement issued to the public to announce general information useful in complying with the laws administered by the Department. An Information Letter has no precedential value. On January 6, 2025, the Department issued SC Information Letter #25-1, Local Sales and Use Tax Charts, Catawba Tribal Sales and Use Tax Chart and Exemption Information. The purpose of this Information Letter is to revise and clarify expiration dates for several counties.
