Abstract
Description
The Winyah Indigo School in Georgetown was constructed in 1908 with a high school wing addition in 1924. In 2004, plans to convert the main portions of the school into an ophthalmologist clinic and day surgery center were reviewed and approved by the State Historic Preservation Office for both Federal and South Carolina Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits.
