Abstract
The South Carolina Budget and Control Board has contracted with Bradburne, Briller & Johnson, LLC to perform an evaluation of the adequacy of the Extended Care Fund for the Barnwell Low-Level Radioactive Waste disposal facility located in Barnwell, South Carolina. The overall objective of this project was to provide the Budget and Control Board with recommendations on financial objectives and investment strategies so that projected expenditures associated with the Barnwell facility’s extended care period may be adequately funded prior to closure of the disposal site.
