South Carolina Law Enforcement Assistance Program
Abstract
This guide has the following purposes: Inform the South Carolina regional law enforcement planning agencies and State agencies about the information they are requested to submit. ' Provide for a common approach to planning and the collection of statistics among the regional and State agencies so that the State plan can more readily reflect local needs and problems and assess priorities. ' Help the regional and state agencies facilitate the analysis of their law enforcement needs and problems and develop meaningful action programs to prevent and reduce crime. Establish the groundwork for ongoing law enforcement planning in South Carolina.
