Abstract
Description
The Spartanburg Post 28 American Legion Building was built during 1936 and 1937 and is significant for its unusual granite Colonial Revival form and its association with the Works Progress Administration. The American Legion still owns the building and received a 2005 Federal Historic Preservation Fund Grant for much needed window repairs.
