Abstract
This manual is created and distributed to provide general information and general requirements for the design, construction, and approval process for facilities reviewed by our division. It is not intended as a design manual because it does not contain exhaustive requirements for the design of health care facilities. It is intended to provide guidance on the process of how to interface with HFC to facilitate the regulatory review of projects and ensure a smooth and beneficial working relationship with our division. In exercising our regulatory responsibility, our goal is to facilitate the process by providing collaborative support while ensuring the safety of all facilities licensed by the Office of Licensing Services.
