Abstract
The State Department of Education has a strategic plan that addresses four main goals: 1. Supporting state efforts to ensure that preschoolers with disabilities start school ready to learn; 2. Supporting state efforts to improve educational outcomes for students with disabilities; 3. Ensuring that students with disabilities and their families receive positive supports, resources, and services; and 4. Ensuring that youth and young adults obtain meaningful post-secondary services for continued education, employment, and independent/community living.
