Abstract
South Carolina is committed to high quality early care and education experiences as a key aspect of an early learning system. All staff, regardless of expertise, can benefit from guidance and support that enhances their ability to work with young children. This is the goal of the South Carolina Early Care and Education Technical Assistance System. The purpose of this paper is to provide a statewide system of certification and professional development to include all providers of technical assistance (TA) to early childhood educators and programs (clients).
