Abstract
The South Carolina General Assembly established the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship Program in 1988 to recognize the most academically talented high school seniors and encourage these students to attend college in the State. In 2023-24, the Palmetto Fellows Program was appropriated $79,328,890 ($67,328,890 Lottery Funding, $12,000,000 General Funds/Children’s Endowment).
