Abstract
The imposing title of this microcopy - Accounts Audited of Claims Growing Out of the Revolution in South Carolina - is a clue to the complexity and importance of the record series it names. This pamphlet sketches the history of the audited accounts from their inception as vouchers to their eventual redemption by the state; it attempts to explain the presence of other documents in the series; it provides an explanation of the Archives' filming procedures; and it describes the indexes to the microfilm edition.
