Abstract
Description
This public records information leaflet number 12 discusses preservation microfilming only as an archival tool. Preservation microfilming is the process of recording on microfilm records of enduring value. The process forms part of an effective archival program when it is followed correctly, but it can waste time and money and can lead to the loss of valuable information when it is not.
