Abstract
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Small Game Project conducts an annual survey of the state's bobwhite quail (Colinus virginianus) hunters. This survey was initiated during the 1987-88 hunting season. The purpose of the Quail Hunter Survey is to collect quantitative information on hunting success, which aids biologists in tracking quail population trends.
