The Children's Law Center serves as a statewide resource center for attorneys and other professionals involved in judicial proceedings related to juvenile justice and child protection. The Children's Law Center is a special grant-funded program of the University of South Carolina School of Law. The office was established in 1995 through the efforts of S.C. Families for Kids, a partnership of the United Way of South Carolina and the S.C. Department of Social Services.
