Abstract
Description
The W.T. Askins House was built ca. 1895 and is an excellent example of Folk Victorian residential architecture. The house and two outbuildings were listed in the National Register May 26, 1995. In 2006, the current owners submitted an application to the State Historic Preservation Office for a major rehabilitation program. Both proposed and completed work was approved for this project qualifying the owners for a South Carolina Homeowner’s Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit.
