Description
This Plan provides a blueprint for how the SUA will manage OAA programs, services, and other activities from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2012. It provides guidance on how the SUA will carry out its mission of enhancing the quality of life of all older citizens, regardless of whether they participate in OAA programs. This four-year Plan incorporates major goals and objectives developed by the Lieutenant Governor's Office on Aging through the submission of the FY 2006-2008 Area Plans, as well as input from various needs assessments carried out throughout the state and from the State AARP, the Silver-Haired Legislature, the SC White House Conference on Aging, the US White House Conference on Aging, the SC Joint Legislative Committee on Aging, waiting lists and numerous surveys conducted by the Lieutenant Governor's Office on Aging.Collections
