Description
The South Carolina Education Survey Committee employed the Division of Surveys and Field Services of George Peabody College for Teachers to conduct a legislatively mandated survey of the public school system of South Carolina. The report includes sections on all types of education from elementary through continuing education, vocational education, state educational organization, school personnel, county and district organization, transportation, special education, special schools, and financing.
